Compared with other wax spatulas tips, this brass tip is much smaller, and the front and back sides are curved to meet different needs and projects.
It removes irregularities, smoothes rough edges and makes small roughnesses disappear, especially inside mortises. Shorter and more malleable, it is easy to guide through holes and rounded edges.
If you already purchased a Heating Part before and need a wax spatula, buying this small tip separately cost you less than buying other versions of wax spatula.
Because brass heats up more quickly than steel, we advise you to start with heating marks at 4.5 or 5 and then gradually increase the temperature to avoid burning the leather.
