A compact visual alignment accessory for faster and easier positioning on the MAXITA EC-17 Hot Foil Stamping Machine.
EC-27 users do not need this accessory, as the laser positioning function is already integrated into the EC-27.
 
The MAXITA EC-17 Laser Positioning Guide projects a visible red crosshair onto the working area, helping you identify and align the intended stamping position before hot foil stamping or embossing. This can be especially useful when changing between different products, dies or stamping positions.
 
It is also sometimes referred to as the MAXITA Infrared Positioning Guide or Infrared Positioner.
 
Laser Guide or Positioning Gauge?
The Laser Positioning Guide and the MAXITA Positioning Gauge perform different but complementary functions.
The laser guide provides a visual reference, allowing you to see approximately where your product should be positioned before stamping.
The physical Positioning Gauge attaches to the working table and provides a fixed mechanical reference, which is more suitable when you need to reproduce the same product position repeatedly during batch work.
For the most controlled repeat positioning, the two accessories can be used together:

Positioning Gauge – physical reference for repeatable placement
Please note that the projected laser is intended as a positioning aid rather than an absolute measurement system. Differences in material thickness and surface height can slightly affect where the projected guide appears, so final positioning should always be checked before stamping.
