These New Generation skiving blades are produced in Vergez Blanchard’s own forging workshop using high-speed steel, developed for consistent performance and long service life. An optimised heat-treatment process improves edge retention, allowing the blade to maintain cutting quality over extended use.
Each blade is manually finished and sharpened, giving it a responsive cutting edge while leaving room for the user to refine sharpness to their own preference.
The blade features a lateral surface pattern designed to improve grip and control during use. Integrated guideline markings assist with repeat sharpening, helping to maintain a consistent cutting angle over the life of the blade.
