This product offers Salamander Bonded Leather supplied in its original 0.8 mm sheet, split in-house to thinner working gauges using our compact precision splitting machine.
 
Depending on the chosen thickness, the original 0.8 mm sheet can be divided into two usable sheets.
For example:
Selecting a split to 0.5 mm will result in:
1 sheet at approx. 0.5 mm
1 sheet at approx. 0.3 mm
This approach provides two working layers from a single sheet, ideal for projects requiring different reinforcement weights within the same build.
Splitting can be requested to final thicknesses between 0.3 mm and 0.6 mm, with a standard tolerance of ±0.1 mm
