A must-have tool for precision and accuracy in your leatherworking projects. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this custom-made knife features no wood on the bottom, allowing you to lower the cutting angle even more than usual.

Customised to perfection, the blade comes with a 60º slant angle as specially requested, providing the ideal cutting angle as the traditional paring and skiving knife. Experience enhanced performance while achieving accurate cuts and covering a wider area, all while effortlessly keeping the tip of the knife resting on the cutting surface.

Designed with comfort in mind, this skiving knife is available in both right and left-handed options, with a straight version also on offer. To ensure this knife maintains its sharpness, we recommend keeping a strop with Polishing Compound close by, giving the knife a quick touch-up while you work.

For any occasional touch-ups or when precision is paramount, we recommend using Starcke Matador Waterproof Wet & Dry Sandpaper or a sharpening stone with a minimum grit of 2000 (we personally prefer 5000 or 6000 grit). Always run the knife at the correct angle and in the right direction—never against the edge. Every 10 or 12 times you do this, simply run the knife 3 or 4 times over the back side of the blade (also never against the edge) to remove any burr and maintain the knife's peak performance.

With this skiving knife in your toolkit, enjoy seamless, precise cuts for all your leatherworking endeavors.
