Special leather goods iron for smoothing. It has three sharp bevelled edges, which are about 1.5 mm.
With two different side lengths (14 and 18 mm) and a width of 12 mm, the FL1.5×12-73 smoothing iron is ideal for working on long pieces (belts, bag straps, etc.).
The thick brass solder can be used as a stop for continuous, even smoothing. It is then pressed against the edge of the leather.
We suggest setting the power station to heat settings from 5.5 to 7.
To ensure the tool performs at its best, we recommend you clean it after each use. This will remove any wax or dye residue that could damage the tool and/or contaminate your next item. To do this, use steel wool 000 on a cold, switched-off iron.
