This tool can create grooves and creases at the edge of leather products such as bags, wallets, and belts. Its exceptional quality features include a genuine ebony wood handle that provides a smooth grip, a machined brass ferrule that secures the shank in place. 

The blade and handle of the tool are on the same axis, providing the user with greater control and pressure on the blade. It comes with different types of blades including a scratch awl tip (DIVIDER), a creaser blade (SPOON), and a groover (BLADE), which suitable for creasing or grooving leather. The distance to the edge can be adjusted.

  • Select the appropriate blade and insert it into the tool using the allen key provided. Once secured, hold the tool firmly by the handle and position the metal stitching guide outside the edge of the leather. The blade should be placed on the surface of the leather edge that you want to mark, and the tool should be angled at a 30 to 45 degree. Apply constant pressure as you run the tool along the leather, taking care not to slip from your chosen track. More pressure can be added to create deeper grooves and creases. The metal guide can be adjusted for left or right-handed use by flipping it over and inserting it back into the tool.

  • It's important to note that the blades of the tool are small and sharp, and should be kept out of reach of children and pets.
